Hi there,
I'm Kathryn. Ten years ago, I trained at brand language consultancy, The Writer, to revel in the magic of words and write clear, compelling narratives for top-notch companies like HSBC and Amazon.
Since then I've honed these skills, along with the experience of writing for the financial and technology industry, to win client contracts in figures I hadn't dreamed possible. Now, ​as a Certified APMP Bid & Proposals Practitioner, I'm eager to get you back to the basics of good writing, most recently demonstrated in my role as Pursuit Writer at Deloitte.
So, what three things can I do for you?

I do it by appealing to each audience and mirroring the client's tone of voice. I've worked on creating brand voices for companies like NatWest bank and I've run naming projects for some pretty fancy people, like Amazon and O2 Telefónica.

I'm also a trained actress, so I like to get in a room and perform. I've led workshops with my clients and been in-house with their web designers. I've battled their legal teams and convinced the unbelievers it's okay to start a sentence with 'And' or 'But'. And I've carried on doing this throughout all my roles – recently writing and performing audio scripts to accompany animated narratives I devised for Deloitte's global clients.
